Through their partnership with Vodafone, the lead investor from the B series, and pending regulatory approval in each country, AST plans to initially offer commercial service in 49 equatorial nations. This means that the company’s SpaceMobile network will reach “over 700 million unconnected people” with 4G and 5G capability.
