Case Study: ALL.SPACE x Quadsat

Field-Proven Innovation in Electronically Steerable Antennas for LEO Communications

Seraphim portfolio companies ALL.SPACE and Quadsat recently partnered on a groundbreaking field evaluation of ALL.SPACE’s multi-beam electronically steerable antenna (ESA), a key enabler of next-generation satellite communications for both commercial and defence markets.

With the rise of multi-orbit, on-the-move connectivity, ESA technology is critical, but real-world performance data has been lacking. To close this gap, ALL.SPACE leveraged Quadsat’s UAV-based testing solution to validate antenna performance across a series of operational scenarios including beam switching, satellite handovers, and multibeam tracking.

The testing campaign, conducted in the UK, delivered the first comprehensive field evaluation of an ESA designed for LEO constellations, providing ALL.SPACE with unprecedented insights into its radiation pattern, tracking performance, and reliability in dynamic environments.

“We’re not just testing — we’re shaping the future of satellite communications and how best to demonstrate world-leading performance and certify this for use in critical environments.”
